We welcome expressions of interest from anyone 14 years or older, whether you’re an experienced coach or brand new and keen to give it a go.
This year all Bluejays coaches are required to complete the Netball Australia Foundation Coach accreditation as part of their role. Don’t worry — we’ll support you through the process and help you get started.
At Bluejays, coaching is about more than game day. Our coaches are supported through mentoring, shared learning, and a positive club culture where everyone is encouraged to learn, try new things, and enjoy the journey together.
Submitting an Expression of Interest helps us plan for the 2026 season and match coaches with teams in a way that sets everyone up for success. There’s no obligation — just a chance to start the conversation and be part of something special.
Register your Coaching Expression of Interest for the 2026 season or contact Sara at coaches@bjnc.com.au for more information.
WDNA will be hosting a range of accredited coaching courses in 2026.
Places will be limited, and we strongly encourage WDNA Club Coaches to take advantage of this opportunity to gain or update their accreditation. These courses are a great chance to further develop coaching skills, connect with other coaches across the association, and
continue raising the standard of coaching within WDNA. We’d love to see as many WDNA Club Coaches as possible in attendance.
Intermediate Course
The Intermediate course is aimed for coaches who have held their Development Coach Accreditation for 12 months and looking to extend their coaching skills.
Development Course
The Development Coach Accreditation is designed for club, association, regional coaches, teachers, and coaching aiming to further their netball knowledge. This is an introduction to skill progression and fault detection with correction.
Please ensure you have completed Development Coaching Course online* Netball Learning Centre prior to registering for the practical workshop.
Enquires please email coachandofficials@netballq.

At Bluejays, our coaches are more than just people on the sidelines - they're friendly mentors who help our players grow in confidence, learn to bounce back from challenges, and build leadership skills both on and off the court. They bring teams together, make the game fun, and help everyone fall in love with netball.
We're all about supporting our coaches too! Whether you're just starting out or have been coaching for a while, we've got a great program to help you build skills, feel confident, and enjoy the journey.
Never coached before? That's totally okay! If you're turning 14 or older this year, you can apply to be a coach. We pair new or younger coaches with experienced mentors who are there to guide, support, and share ideas. It's all about learning together and helping each other grow.
At Bluejays, we believe coaching is a team effort. Our program creates a positive and encouraging spaces where coaches can learn, try new things, and have fun - just like our players do. It's a great way to get involved, give back, and be part of something special.
